How it all began
Our story
The Grand Pawlace began with two people and two very loved dogs. Luke, a frequent traveler based in Bangkok, often faced the same problem many pet parents know too well: finding a place he could truly trust for his dogs, Gizmo and Bloo, his two chihuahuas. While there were many boarding options available, something always felt missing. The spaces were small, restrictive, and impersonal more like temporary holding areas than a place a dog could genuinely feel at home.
Billie would often visit and see it firsthand. The limited space, the lack of freedom, the absence of warmth. It didn’t reflect what they both believed dogs deserved. Because to them, dogs aren’t just pets. They are family. With Luke’s deep love for animals and Billie’s vision for creating something better, countless conversations turned into one clear idea: What if there was a place in Bangkok where dogs could live freely, safely, and happily, just like they would at home?
A place with open space to run. A place without cages or confinement. A place built around love, not limitation. And so, The Grand Pawlace was born. Located near BTS Bang Chak in Bangkok, our sanctuary combines the best of home-style care with premium amenities. The day begins with warm greetings, tail wags, and belly rubs. Overnight guests enjoy a nutritious breakfast tailored to their diet, followed by a refreshing morning stroll in the dewy gardens. It's a gentle, happy start to the day as friends reunite and new guests are welcomed into the pack.
Afternoon Play & Enrichment
When the energy peaks, the fun begins! Dogs enjoy supervised playgroups matched by size and play style. Whether it's splashing in the pool, chasing balls in the yard, or solving puzzle toys indoors, there's an activity for everyone. We always follow active play with scheduled nap times in our cool, air-purified lounges.
Evening Wind-Down
As the sun sets, the energy mellows. Dinner is served in a calm, quiet environment. Dogs enjoy a final evening potty break under the stars before settling into their plush, private beds. With our staff on-site 24/7, your dog drifts off to sleep feeling safe, secure, and deeply loved.
